Video Office Visit – Virtual Doctor Visit
The physicians and practitioners of San Francisco Otolaryngology and San Francisco Allergy, Asthma & Immunology are pleased to offer video medical visits. Virtual doctor visits are an ideal way to discuss your treatment and care with our medical doctors from the comforts of your own home.
Telehealth is a safe and reliable option for care that can minimize the risk of exposure and spread of illnesses, including COVID-19. Please note that some medical conditions cannot be diagnosed and treated via video visit and require an in-person office assessment.
Please note that to minimize the spread of COVID-19 in our community, we are not scheduling in-person office visits for patients with cold and flu-like symptoms including any of the following: fever over 100.4F, cough, difficulties in breathing, travel in the past 2 weeks to a high-risk region, or contact with a known COVID-19 patient. As we do not have testing capabilities for COVID-19 or other viral respiratory pathogens, these patients should either contact their primary care clinician or the Department of Public Health at 415-554-2500 to determine if testing for COVID-19 is needed. For patients with severe symptoms, we recommend calling the Department of Public Health or go to the nearest Emergency Room for evaluation.
