Terri Gallagher, Au.D., joined San Francisco Audiology in 1994, serving as its only audiologist for more than fifteen years. Dr. Gallagher specializes in diagnostic hearing evaluations and a complete spectrum of amplification options. Passionate about audiology, Dr. Gallagher has consistently been an advocate for the deaf and hard of hearing and an active participant in community health fairs and grand round lectures for various hospitals. She is also a member of various state and local audiology organizations. A San Francisco Bay Area native, Dr. Gallagher was awarded her B.A. and M.S. degrees from San Francisco State University and earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from Arizona School of Health Science.

Mont Stong, Au.D., Board Certified in Audiology, joined San Francisco Audiology as Director of Business Development in September 2013. Dr. Stong has 30+ years of experience in the hearing healthcare profession working in medical, audiology, hearing aid dispensing, clinical research, sales and marketing settings. In addition, Dr. Stong has been involved in local and state community and professional organizations as a Board member, a committee chair, and a hearing aid examiner. He received his B.S. degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Southern Methodist University, his M.S. degree in Audiology from the University of North Texas, and his Doctor of Audiology degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences (A.T. Still University).

Carey Philliposian, Au.D., joined San Francisco Audiology in October of 2014. Dr. Philliposian has been passionate about the field of audiology for more than 20 years, spending the past 17 years practicing adult and pediatric audiology in the Bay Area. Her experience ranges from private practice, non-profit and hospital settings such as UCSF Medical Center. In addition to being well versed in clinical audiology, her professional interests include audiology research and developing the San Francisco Audiology Research Center at San Francisco Audiology. Dr. Philliposian received her B.S. degree at the University of Washington, her M.S. degree from San Francisco State University and her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University, Pennsylvania. Being a native San Franciscan, Dr. Philliposian is thrilled to be working in the city that she loves.

Jeffrey Lampert, Au.D., joined San Francisco Audiology in April 2012. Dr. Lampert has more than 30 years of experience in the hearing healthcare field and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the California Academy of Audiology. Dr. Lampert earned his B.A. and Master of Audiology degrees from San Diego State University and his Doctor of Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences (A.T. Still University). Prior to joining San Francisco Audiology Dr. Lampert worked in a number of otolaryngology practices and owned his own private audiology practice in San Mateo, California.

William Huson, Au.D., joined San Francisco Audiology at the start of 2017. After obtaining his B.A. in Linguistics and B.S. in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Washington, he earned his Doctor of Audiology from the University of California–San Diego. Dr. Huson’s interests include the treatment of tinnitus, patient education and integrating the latest hearing aid technologies and research into his practice. With experience working in private practice, school districts and for major healthcare organizations, Dr. Huson enjoys delivering exceptional care to patients of all ages. To this day, Dr. Huson remains fascinated by hearing and language and is committed to helping every person reach their highest communication potential.

Lyndon Gremillion, Au.D., joined San Francisco Audiology in 2017. Dr. Gremillion earned his B.S. in Biology and, after becoming interested in audiology – a profession he found to be the perfect blend of medicine and technology – obtained his Doctor of Audiology from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Gremillion’s interests include balance disorders, vestibular diagnostics and rehabilitation. He is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and proud to be part of such a fast-growing profession.

Michelle Griffin, Au.D., has been in the audiology field for more than 13 years. Dr. Griffin completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology and speech and hearing sciences from the University of California at Santa Barbara. She went on to receive her Doctor of Audiology from Central Michigan University. Dr. Griffin’s interests include vestibular diagnostics and rehabilitation, Lyric and adult amplification. She is a Board member of California Academy of Audiology and a member of CAA and AAA.

Michelle Piltch, MS has worked in hearing healthcare for more than 35 years. She joined San Francisco Audiology in 2020, after owning her own private practice in Petaluma for 33 years. Michelle also has experience in other hospital and clinical settings including Providence Speech and Hearing Center in Southern California, Marin General Hospital and Kaiser Permanente Medical Clinic. She earned her Bachelor of Science in speech and hearing sciences from Humboldt State University in 1981 and her Master of Science in audiology from Colorado State University in 1983. Michelle is passionate about her work and understands the impact of hearing loss on the patient, their family and friends. She focuses on balancing clinical skills with learning about each patient’s personal needs to provide the best possible hearing and communication solution.

Nicole Schmidt, Au.D.

Nicole Schmidt, Au.D.

Nicole Schmidt, Au.D. completed her bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology and audiology from the University of Akron and obtained her Doctorate of Audiology from Central Michigan University. Her interests include vestibular diagnostics, tinnitus management and adult amplification. Dr. Schmidt focusses on evaluating each patient thoroughly to determine where the problem stems from to provide each patient the best possible outcome. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is excited to join a team that focuses on exceptional patient care.

John Dobbs, Au.D.

John Dobbs, Au.D.

John Dobbs joined San Francisco Audiology in January 2012. He left briefly to travel the world and returned to practice in 2021. Dr. Dobbs has extensive experience in adult and pediatric audiology and has practiced in several well-respected audiology centers including the Hearing and Speech Center of Northern California, The League for the Hard of Hearing in New York, University of California San Francisco and Children’s Hospital Philadelphia. Dr. Dobbs received his B.A. degree in linguistics from Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand. After moving to the United States, he was awarded his M.S. degree in audiology from San Francisco State University and his Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University, Pennsylvania.

Chris Brignetti, HAD, joined San Francisco Audiology in 2017. Chris has been helping patients hear better for more than seven years. He enjoys working with patients and specializes in finding a personalized solution to each patient’s hearing needs. Chris received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Santa Cruz in literature and is a licensed hearing aid dispenser through the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board of California.

Chris Nicklo, HAD, joined San Francisco Audiology in 2018 after a career in business and marketing. Having worn hearing aids for twenty years, Chris knows the difference they make in improving connections with family and friends and increasing your confidence to achieve what matters most. Chris received his Bachelor of Arts from Hampden-Sydney College in economics and French and his MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. He is a licensed hearing aid dispenser through the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board of California.

Angela Smith, PT, MSPT

Angela Smith, PT, MSPT

Angela Smith has been a physical therapist since 1996. She completed her Bachelor of Science in health sciences and Master of Science in physical therapy at Boston University. Angela specializes in the treatment of dizziness, vertigo and imbalance related to vestibular dysfunction, vestibular migraines, post-concussion syndrome and other brain injuries. She treats TMJ as well as spinal and orthopedic dysfunction.
